Workers in the Kaycee (Kettering Cloth Manufacturer's Cooperative Society) factory.
My Aunt, Violet Langley, started work at Kaycee (ladies) in Field Street Kettering when she left the Central School and worked her way up to forewoman. She may be the person with her back to the camera on the left-hand side of the picture. She only left Kaycee when she retired as the factory closed. By then the ladies factory was closed and everyone worked in the "old" factory" on the other side of the road. My mother also worked at the factory from when she left school until she married and then much later, part-time.
