Kettering town has its own football team. Their team has a nickname which is called 'the Poppies'. The Kettering Town football team has won the Conferance north (Blue Square north) after playing 37 out of 42 games. They have won 26, drawn 6 and lost 5. Our goal difference is +53 goals, we've got 84 goals for and 31 goals against and 84 points. Our stadium is in Britannia Road. The game to decide if we won it or not was against Telford which was 3 nil to Kettering. the goals were scored by Robinson in the 10th and 25th minute as well as Bridges in the 86th minute.
