My grandfather Benjamin Byers is standing on the back row 7th from right with moustache - he was principal trombonist and was 'head-hunted' from Wingates Temperance Band in Lancashire which still exists, and worked in the shoe factory.  He was with M&F for about 30 years.

Does anyone know anything about the factory itself? My great grandfather was Albert 'Bert' Stanley Felton who's brother was Frederick Lewis Felton. If anyone has any info please email me at Nadinelidstone@hotmail.co.uk

My father used to play with Munn and Feltons for many years. His name was David John Kelsey and I am currently compiling some history for my children and grandchildren. I would appreciate any help finding photos. He was with them in 1964 and 1972 when they won the championships but I can't seem to find anything with his photo. Please email me at jean.rowe5@btinternet.com
