The Visit of King George VI

By Sylvia Griffiths

My mother is called Sylvia Griffiths (maiden name Hunt). She was evacuated to Kettering during the war and stayed with a Mr and Mrs Smith and their daughter Margaret, all of whom are are now deceased. I am looking for pictures of her during her time in Kettering. There is a picture of her in the crowd when King George VI came to visit in Kettering, but I am unable to find it now. So this is a cry for help to anyone who may know where we can start to look for them. My mum did ring the school on Park Road but nothing was found.

Please, can anyone help?
