The Mermaid dress is a beautiful dress, some people want this dress.
According to information in the museum, this costume was worn by Amelia Joy Adams in April 1929, when she was aged 12 and appearing at the Coliseum Theatre in a production for the Miss Betty Brooks dance school. The routine she appeared in was called 'Sea Scene'.
The costume has a pink cotton top with a silver-green lamé tail.
I love this mermaid costume as it is so pretty.
Ithink it is lovely and you can't get one nowadays!!
